BUILDING AN ONLINE HOME FOR A LINCOLN-BASED MUSIC STUDIO.
Yelo Studios approached me to design a website that reflected their creative energy while making it easy for local artists to learn about the studio, view services, and get in touch. The goal was to create a site that felt professional yet artistic — one that truly represented their personality and passion for music.
THE DESCRIPTION.
This was one of my earliest website design projects and remains a favourite because of its personality. The site was designed to capture Yelo Studios’ identity as a creative, welcoming space for recording, production, and collaboration.
Originally featuring an integrated music player to showcase in-house projects, the site combined bold visuals with a clean layout to balance professionalism and creativity. Over time, I’ve continued to host and maintain the website, ensuring it stays up to date, secure, and optimised for performance.
The project also included basic SEO setup, helping the studio build visibility within the local Lincoln creative scene.

DISCOVERY
Collaborated with the studio team to understand their vision and the atmosphere they wanted the site to convey.
PHASE 2
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Created a visually dynamic website featuring strong imagery, studio highlights, and a built-in music player to feature local artists.

HOSTING & SUPPORT
Set up secure hosting and have continued to manage updates, backups, and performance optimisation for over two years.
