1. Introduction

At Adam Watters Creative, we aim to deliver high-quality creative and marketing services with clear, transparent pricing. This Refund Policy outlines how payments and refunds are handled for both monthly retainers and fixed project work.

2. Retainer Payments

All retainers are billed monthly in advance. Clients pay a fixed monthly fee that covers a set number of hours or agreed deliverables.
Because retainers reserve time and resources each month, payments are non-refundable once the billing period has begun.

If services are paused, reduced, or terminated, we require one month’s written notice. Any unused hours or deliverables within the final billing cycle will be discussed and, where appropriate, rolled over or credited by mutual agreement.

3. Fixed Project Payments

For fixed projects, payments are made in three instalments as follows:

  • 50% deposit – due upon project acceptance to secure your booking.

  • 40% midway payment – due once the project reaches the agreed milestone (e.g. design or development approval).

  • 10% final payment – due on completion, before handover or launch.

This structure ensures fairness and accountability throughout the project. Deposits and progress payments are non-refundable once the relevant project stage has begun.

4. Refunds

Refunds are not normally issued once work has started, as time and resources are allocated specifically to your project. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances can occur.
Refunds may be considered only if agreed in writing beforehand or as part of a mutual arrangement between both parties.

Any refund granted will reflect the amount of work completed and expenses incurred up to that point.

5. Disputes and Communication

We believe open communication prevents most issues. If you’re ever unhappy with a service or deliverable, please contact us immediately at contact@adamwatters.co.uk so we can review the situation and agree on a fair resolution.
